Cooking with a Kukri is a section of my blog dedicated to healthy cooking.  One of the biggest hurdles to being successful in the pursuit of better health is being able to make a healthy meal.  Most often I hear the following things about cooking healthy meals:

  • “I don’t know what to make, I just don’t understand nutrition.”
  • “I don’t have time to make a healthy meal …I am a very busy person.”
  • “Healthy food just doesn’t taste good to me!”
  • “It’s too inconvenient.”
  • “I don’t know how to cook!”
  • “I do eat healthy, but then I crave junk food and overindulge.”
  • “I can’t afford to eat healthy”
  • “I can’t stick to a meal plan, I work late shifts.”

In this section I will address a lot of these concerns by providing some basic tools to build your kitchen skillset, and of course, by providing recipes.  Additionally I will discuss kitchenware such as knives and cooking utensils and touch on nutrition and how to incorporate cooking into your busy life.
